Re: [xep-support] error: formatting failed:

This issue has nothing to do with XEP.

This is a bug in Java Virtual Machine on Microsoft Windows platform.
When memory usage (or number of objects, I don't know yet for sure)
exceeds a limit, the stack gets screwed and certain object are
nullified when they should not.

I have been able to format the file under both Linux and FreeBSD, but
not under Windows, where the error shows up under all versions of Java
available to me.

The advices are to either split your file into smaller chunks (it is
over 90Mb in size -- so that JVM for Windows can cope with it), or to
change the OS to something that works.
